Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturers in Fine Arts
Walk in Interview to the post of Temporary Assistant Lecturers in Fine Arts will be held on 13.07.2026 at 10.00 am in the Mini Board Room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with First or Second-Class Upper Division.
OR
- A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Second Class Lower Division.
OR
- (a) A Honours Degree in the relevant subject with Pass or any other degree which includes the relevant subject as one of the subjects in the Degree Programme and obtained at least Second Class and,
(b) A Recognized Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject.
Note:- candidates who are awaiting results of the final degree examination may also be permit to appear for the above interview.

A fixed monthly salary of Rs.85,305/-, subject to a deduction of Rs.8,906/- as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02. /2025 (i) dated 04.04.2025.

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grant Commission applicable to the post will be paid.
