41st GENERAL CONVOCATION

06.10.2026, 07.10.2026, and 08.10.2026

41st General Convocation of the University of Jaffna will be held on 06th, 07th and 08th October 2026 for the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees, Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas. Those of you who have passed the following examinations and are eligible to be conferred a degree at the above 41st  Convocation are kindly requested to supplicate from 10.09.2026 to 18.09.2026 at 9.00 am .

Submission of Supplication Forms

Internal Graduands

Supplication Form

All the internal graduands are hereby requested to submit their Google forms on or before 18.09.2026 at 9.00 am via online, using the University website link: www.jfn.ac.lk. Supplication form will be required to be uploaded to process applications. Therefore, please have the supplication form scanned into either ‘jpeg’ or ‘jpg’ or ‘pdf ‘ format, not exceeding the image size of 2MB for each scanned document.

Printed hard copy of the supplication form (with the attached payment slip) should be sent by registered post or by hand. Please indicate “41st General Convocation- (Student Registration Number: …….)” by writing your registration number on the top left hand corner of the envelope to reach the following address on or before 21.09.2026.

All the extenal graduands are hereby requested to submit their online forms on or before 18.09.2026 at 9.00 am via Student Information System (SIS), using the University website

Supplication Form – External

Downloaded and printed hard copy of the supplication form (with the attached payment slip) should be sent by registered post or by hand. Please indicate “41st General Convocation- (Student Registration Number: …….)” by writing your registration number on the top left hand corner of the envelope to reach the following address on or before 21.09.2026

All the External Graduands are hereby requested to submit their supplication form to the postal address given below:

Method of Payment

All payments can be made using any of the following six payment methods. Graduands may
select the one of the following payment method that is most convenient for them..

    • Counter Payments ( Direct payment – at any branch of the People’s Bank in favour of the University of Jaffna collection account )

Please write one of the above bank account (reference) number in the deposit slip as reference number respective of your degree type and according to whether you receive the degree award attending in person or in absentia. Individuals must use their own identification number as the Payee Code. (Others Payee Number 52675013)Please note that Bank will not accept any deposit without Reference Number as above.

Note: The graduands those who opt to get their degree In- Absentia need not pay their cloak hire fee and photo fee.

Issuing Convocation Cloak

Graduands who supplicate to receive degree ‘In Person’ will be issued a cloak for the convocation at the Record Room of the University of Jaffna and the date for issuing cloaks will be notified in due course.

Dues to the University

Degree certificates will not be issued to those who fail to discharge any liabilities or dues to the University.

Period of Supplication:

  • From 10.09.2026 to 18.09.2026 at 9.00 am.
    Late supplication will not be entertained.
