 Walk-in-Interview

Walk-in-interview for the following temporary positions will be held on the 02.09.2026 from 9.30 am to 12.00 noon at the Board Room, Faculty of Technology, University of Jaffna, Arviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi.

• Temporary Assistant Lecturerin Biosystems Technology
• Temporary Demonstrator in Biosystems Technology

Required Qualifications:

1. A Honours Degree in Biosystems Technology/Agriculture Science with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;
   OR
2. A Honours Degree in Biosystems Technology/Agriculture Science with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Temporary Assistant Lecturer – A fixed monthly salary of 85,305/-subject to a deduction of Rs.8,906/- as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.
• Temporary Demonstrator – A fixed monthly salary of 68,145/-subject to a deduction of Rs.6,029- as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission applicable to the posts will also be paid.

Candidates with the required qualifications should be present for the walk-in interview for the above mentioned posts with educational and any other relevant certificates (originals) along with certified copies, National Identity Card and Curriculum Vitae.
