Vacancy for the Post of Temporary Befriender
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Temporary Befriender (Vacancy: 01 Post) . Applicants should possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in community health work. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed relevant training or courses related to enhancing the health and well-being of communities and families. Applicants should also demonstrate empathy, active listening, confidentiality, and effective communication skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining supportive relationships with clients, conducting support sessions, providing emotional support, sharing approved information and resources, assisting clients in accessing fertility-related services, maintaining accurate and confidential records, participating in training and supervision, identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, maintaining professional boundaries, and contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of support services through timely reports and documentation.
Remuneration:
- A monthly salary of LKR 54,348.00 will be paid.
