Walk-in-Interview

Walk-in-interview for the following temporary position will be held on the 07^th of April, 2026 at 9.00 am in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna.

• Temporary Instructor in Computer Science

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;
   OR

2. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;
   OR

3. (a) A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject without Honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours,
   and
   (b) a recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject

Note: Candidates who are awaiting the results of the final degree examinations (University of Jaffna) may also apply for the post of Temporary Instructor.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS

• Instructor
  A fixed monthly salary of Rs.68,145/- subject to a deduction of Rs.6,029/- as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.

In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission applicable to the posts will also be paid.
