யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினையை அனுமதி இன்றி பயன்படுத்துதல் தொடர்பான அறிவித்தல்
யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் 40ஆவது பொதுப் பட்டமளிப்பு விழா 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு பெப்ரவரி மாதம் 19, 20, 21 மற்றும் 22 ஆகிய திகதிகளில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.
இவ்விழாவை முன்னிட்டு, பட்டதாரிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினை பொறிக்கப்பட்ட கழுத்துமாலைகள், பட்டச் சான்றிதழ் சுருட்டுகள், தொப்பிகள் மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினை பொறிக்கப்பட்ட பரிசுப் பொருட்கள் ஆகியவை, சில தனிநபர்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களால் உரிய அனுமதி இன்றி தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு விற்பனை செய்யப்படுவதாக பல்கலைக்கழக நிர்வாகத்தின் கவனத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளது.
இவ்வாறு பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினையை அனுமதி இன்றி பயன்படுத்துதல், நடைமுறையிலுள்ள சட்டங்களின் படி குற்றச்செயலாகும்.
பல்கலைக்கழக மூதவை மற்றும் பேரவையின் அனுமதியுடன், நடைமுறைகளின் ஊடாக பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினையைப் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு பதிவாளரிடமிருந்து உரிய எழுத்துமூல அனுமதி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறான அனுமதிகள் இன்றி எவரேனும் தனிநபர்களோ அல்லது நிறுவனங்களோ பல்கலைக்கழக இலச்சினையை பயன்படுத்தினால், அவர்களுக்கெதிராக உரிய சட்டநடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் என்பதனை இத்தால் அறியத்தருகின்றேன்.
மேலும், பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பயிலும் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் பட்டதாரி மாணவர்கள் இவ்வாறான சட்டவிரோத செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு ஆதரவு வழங்குவதையும் ஊக்குவிப்பதையும் உடனடியாக நிறுத்திக் கொள்ளுமாறும் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகின்றீர்கள்.

The 40th General Convocation of the University of Jaffna is scheduled to be held on 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd February 2026.
In connection with the above Convocation, it has come to the attention of the University Administration that certain individuals and institutions are producing, marketing, and selling items bearing the University of Jaffna emblem, including garlands, degree certificate scroll holders, caps, and other gift items intended for graduands, without obtaining prior authorization from the University.
The use of the University of Jaffna emblem without proper authorization constitutes an offence under the prevailing laws.
With the approval of the Senate and the Council of the University, and in accordance with established procedures, written authorization must be obtained from the Registrar for the use of the University emblem. Any individual or institution found using the University emblem without such authorization will be subject to appropriate legal action.
Further, students currently studying at the University and graduate students are hereby requested to refrain immediately from supporting or encouraging such unauthorized and unlawful activities.
