Notice for the Students

Government of Indian Scholarship – 2026

Applications are invited from first-year needy undergraduate students of the University of Jaffna

1. Only first-year students are eligible to apply.
2. The application form must be downloaded and printed on both sides of A4 sheets.
3. Ensure the application form is fully and correctly filled. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
4. If you don’t have certified salary details, you must get a certificate of income from your Grama Niladhari and Divisional Secretary.
5. Only one application per student is allowed.
6. The completed application must reach the Welfare Services Branch on or before 09^th April 2026.
7. You must submit both:
   • The Google Form (link given below), and
   • A hard copy of the application with supporting documents to the Welfare Services Branch.

Important: Only those who submit both the Google Form and Hard Copy before the deadline will be considered for selection.
