Issuing Cloaks | 40th General Convocation

40^th General Convocation -2026

The 40^th Annual General Convocation of the University of Jaffna will be held on 19^th, 20^th, 21^st & 22^nd of February 2026 at the Indoor Stadium of the University of Jaffna in twelve sessions.

Graduands those who will be conferred degrees at the above convocation are requested to obtain their cloaks at the Record Room of the University of Jaffna on the following dates, producing either Student Identity Cards or National Identity Cards.

All necessary arrangements have been made by the University to take photographs at the convocation. Details of the sessions and other instructions related to above are available at the Notice Board of the Academic Affairs and Publication Branch and University website.

Note:

• Graduands from former Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna may obtain their cloaks from the University of Vavuniya from 16.02.2026 (Monday) & 17.02.2026 (Tuesday). (T.P-024-222-3924) Email Address: academic@vau.ac.lk
