Walk – in – Interview

Walk – in – Interview for the posts of Temporary Demonstrator/ Temporary Assistant Lecturer in Siddha Medicine will be held in the Board Room of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, Kaithady as follows:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

•  A BSMS Degree with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;
  OR
• A BSMS Degree with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;
  OR
• A BSMS Degree with Normal pass
  AND
• A recognized postgraduate degree in Siddha Medicine

Notes:

• Candidates who have successfully completed the one-year internship and have obtained membership of the Ayurvedic Medical Council, Department of Ayurveda are eligible to apply for the post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer.
• Candidates who have successfully passed the Final BSMS Examination and are awaiting the commencement of their internship may also submit applications for the post of Temporary Demonstrator.

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

• Temporary Assistant Lecturer
  A fixed monthly salary of Rs. 85,305/-subject to a deduction of Rs.8,906/-as an unpaid amount, in accordance with commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.
• Temporary Demonstrator
  A fixed monthly salary of Rs. 68,145/-subject to a deduction of Rs.6,029/-as an unpaid amount, in accordance with commission Circular No.02/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.

In addition to the above, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission applicable to the posts will also be paid.

Interested candidates possessing the required qualifications are requested to be present for the walk-in interview for the above-mentioned posts, bringing their curriculum vitae, original educational and other relevant certificates along with certified copies, and National Identity Card.
